Last Saturday Alena and other St. Petersburg skaters returned home from this off-season’s last training camp, which had traditionally taken place in Sweden. During these thirty days the athletes were gaining shape, working on their new programs and perfecting their skills. Beside three practices a day, off-ice trainingand choreography classes there were some lovely moments of rest, such as going to town, outings and, of course, the gala, which, according to the participants, went off very well. As soon as at the end of this week Alena will go to Novogorsk, where starting from August 24 judges and specialists will be evaluating the results of the work done by single skaters during the off-season. Which reminds us that the new season’s first events are not far off already!
