ISU Grand Prix - Skate Canada 2011 – October 28-30 - Mississauga, Canada
Skate Canada, the second event of the international Grand Prix series, will be Alena’s first official tournament of the new season. She has never before entered the Canadian event, and has competed in Canada only once, at the Olympic Games in Vancouver.
This year the International Skating Union has reduced the number of participants of the Grand Prix events from 12 to 10 (for single skaters). Ladies’ short program will take place on Friday, October 29, and the free skating on October 29.
